Sante Les Amis, toca disco punk; hace rock para la pista de baile. El proyecto surgio en Montevideo a principios de 2007 cuando Nicotina, Diego (miembros de The Lenny Valentino) y Duchov (Arquero Peligro) tuvieron la idea de explorar los sonidos que surgen de la fusion de ciertos elementos del rock y los aspectos ritmicos de la musica de baile, mezclando sonidos crudos y naturales con sintetizados. Con su primera formación (junto a Tasende en batería) comenzaron a tocar en los boliches underground de Montevideo convirtiendose de inmediato en referentes de la nueva escena local.
Edito su primer EP 'Sante Les Amis' en mayo de 2008 con muy buena aceptacion por parte del publico y los medios de prensa. El EP incluye tres temas originales (She's gone, The news, Mecanico) y los remixes de Martimat (She's gone) y los argentino-holandeses Ricky y Rulo (Mecanico). Formó parte del compilado 'Bisiesto', sobre la nueva escena rock-pop independiente montevideana editado a mediados de 2008 y participo de la Fiesta Feliz en setiembre de dicho año. A fines de 2008 entran a la banda Santy (Mux) en teclados y samplers y Chiku (Cabron) en bateria. Luego de presentarse en Misshapes Montevideo en Junio de 2009 y grabar su segundo EP a editarse a fines de Julio la banda continua presentandose en vivo. Sante Les Amis es: Nicotina (guitarra), Duchov (bajo/voz), Santy (teclados), Chiku (bateria), Diego (guitarra/voz).
Sante Les Amis plays disco punk, made rock for the dance floor. The proyect begins in march 2007 in Montevideo when Nicotina and Traverso (former The Lenny Valentino) and Duchov (Arquero Peligro) had the idea to join some sounds of the electronic music with rock music. With its first (with Tasende in drums) the band started to play in the local circuit.
In may of 2008 edited his first EP 'Sante Les Amis' with good receiving in public and press. The Ep has three original tracks (She's gone, The news, Mecanico) and the remixe of She's Gone by Martimat and Ricky y Rulo who remixes Mecanico. In August the band was invited to join the cd compilation of uruguaian rock music called Bisiesto, and played in the event 'Fiesta Feliz' in september. At the end of 2008 Chiku (Cabron) started to play drums and Santy (Mux) was joined to play keyboards and samplers.
After played in Misshapes Montevideo and record their second Ep to be edited in July, the band continues performing live.
