I am proud to announce my family's participation in YAI/National Institute for People with Disabilities Network's 21st Annual Central Park Challenge on May 31, 2008. We have been involved with YAI since my brother Alberto, who has autism, began attending the Brooklyn Day Program in 1991 and we have participated in the Central Park Challenge since 2000. We have formed a walk team called The Loyal Acevedos and Friends for the 3K Walk.
I hope you will make a generous gift to support this exciting and important event.
The support that is raised through the Central Park Challenge makes a real difference in the lives of infants, children, and adults with autism, Down syndrome, mental retardation, and other developmental disabilities.
It's really exciting knowing how the money we raise is touching the lives of people with disabilities and their families.
Your gift to the Central Park Challenge can help create happy endings for other families, like Amanda's. It's a great feeling to know that you're helping to give a child with disabilities a brighter, happier future.
Thanks so much for your loyal support! Mwaah!
