Sappho is a very cute, openminded and cultural bar in the center of Amsterdam. Every tuesday and wednesday Sappho provides the stage for live music (Bookings for wednesdays: agendasappho@gmail.com). The first wednesday of the month LACH US organises a stand-up comedy-night (mostly dutch spoken).
Every friday and some saturday Sappho throws parties for women, either if they are gay, bi or straight. Only on fridays and saturdays Sappho has a special rule: men are welcome in the bar accompanied by a female friend.
