Saprophagous first formed in 2001 with the end of IMPALED VIOLENCE. Guitar player Rob D was in search of a new drummer and bass player. Seraching for months and becoming frustrated with the fact that drummers are very hard to find in LA, Rob D knew that if Saprophagous was going to be born it would be him on drums. Rob S was an old school friend of Rob D, and was a fluent bass player so they started to jam. Still in need of guitars player, they decided that Rob S move to guitar with Jimmy Walton on 2nd Guitar and got Aramis Aradondo to play bass. In 2002 the band releases "Embrace Imperfections" Demo then in 2003 released "False Predictions" demo, gaining a good response Saprophagous then released in 2006 the mini EP "Convextiy of Illusion". With the departer of Aramis Aradondo, Robert Cardenas then stepped up to the plate to help out with recordings in a short time notice. They then entered The Dungeon Studios with Adrian Villanueva where they recorded their 3rd release entitiled "Dimensions of Diverse Brutality" scheduled to be released in the beggining of 2009.
