Founded in 2009, Saprophyte had a vision of melding many characteristically unorthodox styles and genres of music. Drawing on the personal tastes of each band member, the band feeds on anything - from traditional 70's progressive rock and jazz - to thrash and extreme metal.
The result is an experimental and eclectic style of Death Metal; and increasingly interesting live act. Saprophyte hope to become one band in a movement that challenges the boundaries of Metal.
