Saraband were a folk band which formed in 1967 in Rochdale, Manchester, England. The members were Frank Harrison, Barbara Yates, and Stewart Maudsley. Frank and Stewart met at Rochdale college of art and Barbara was a librarian at Middleton library. Frank and Stewart originally met Barbara on a number 7 bus from Middleton to Rochdale and got chatting as she had a guitar with her. They went on to perform many television and radio shows as well as recording for DECCA and doing a special performance at the Royal festival hall in London. Later to travel the lengh and breadth of the UK performing at university's and concert halls with great success. After 40 years they have decided to get back together to perform a few reunion concerts. (dates to be confirmed)

Here's wishing you the happiest of Holiday Seasons. May all of your dreams come true. I took this photo a few years ago on a cold winter day in the old part of Bratislava, Slovakia, about an hour's train ride from Vienna.
I just listened to "Come To You" and it sounds good. Having your 40th anniversary just like Pentangle eh? I like the photograph of you lot circa 1967 with the Mod attire--great shot! Congrats on playing together for all these years
