Sara Benincasa is a citizen journalist for the 2008 MTV Choose or Lose Street Team. Her political blog and video news reports can be found on MTV’s social activism website, ThinkMTV.
Sara likes politics, but she loves comedy so hard it makes her want to freak the eff out and set an imaginary pile of money ablaze. Her weekly show Family Hour with Auntie Sara, a FREE family-themed (but not family-appropriate!) live show happens at Ochi’s Lounge at Comix every THURSDAY at 7:30 p.m.
Sara wrote the sometimes-funny, sometimes-raunchy, occasionally-insightful, always-entertaining "SJ1000" sex and dating blog on Nerve.com’s Blog-a-Log.
She also hosts Nerve.com’s Tub Talk with Sara B., a show in which she interviews comedians and humor writers in her bathtub.
She used to be a contributing writer to the Onion News Network, but she had to give that up to spend more time coming up with punny names for sexual positions (FYI, the "Cirque du Ho-lay" involves a trapeze.)
She is a frequent-ish guest on the Sirius Network’s Maxim Radio Channel, as well as the political Indie Talk Channel and the Cosmo Radio Channel.

Influences
Margaret Cho, Kathy Griffin, MST3K, Janeane Garofalo, Chris Rock, David Sedaris, Amy Sedaris, Judy Tenuta, Tina Fey, Eddie Izzard (because I like costumes and brilliance), Amy Poehler, The State, the Kids in the Hall, Sandra Bernhard, all the comics I knew at Emerson College
She puked on her prom dress in a Crash Romeo pop punk video once. Another time she played a dead lady on a beach. She was wearing a sundress with spaghetti straps, and it was 25 degrees out. Her boobs did not fall off, but it was a close call there for awhile. Also this one time, she played this guy's annoying girlfriend, and then it turned out the guy was gay. This has maybe also happened in real life as well as on celluloid.

Music
If Jay-Z and George Michael did a duet, the world would be simultaneously so much gayer and so much straighter, and the space-time continuum would collapse in on itself, which is why Clive Davis needs to make that shit happen YESTERDAY.
Movies
Have you seen Sleepaway Camp II? Do yourself a HUUUUGE favor and go see Pamela Springsteen torture innocent teens at camp.
Television
We should really all be watching more MTV, especially when/if Sara's disturbingly lifelike visage is on it.

I am the opposite of super rich. Business is ridonkulously slow during the summer because pizza parlor is right across the street from a high school - which is the main staple of my business. So I will not have business until next semester. I will work 70 hours a week and GO CRAZY....YAY!!!
So the other day I got this picture text message of this sexy bitch and I was all like, "Who is this sexy bitch?" Then I was like, "This sexy bitch can only be one person, and I know who it is." Also, you are totally Valley Pizza Joint's FRIEND! I'm excited. I actually didn't make the webpage, my friend Nicole made it but I'm glad you can get a good look at the place where I have to spend 70 hrs a week! YAY!
