REVIEWS:
“ In an age where many artists seem to sound alike, it’s always good to hear something new and fresh. Sarah Whaley’s stylish vocal performances on her new CD “ Life Is Beautiful ” has a new versatile signature sound all her own. Every song leaves you with amazement in her ability to sing the different song styles contained in this project from the Country Traditional sounds of “ Unbreakable Heart ”, the Bluegrass sounds of “ I Wonder What It’s Like In Love ”, to the power hitting toe tapping tune “ It Feels Good ” indeed leaves you feeling good.
I think we’ll be hearing a lot from this accomplished young singer. Great songs, great production……. a great talent!”

NOTES FROM THE PRODUCER:
With each new rising star, record company producers strive to create a unique look and sound that identifies a music artist.
When I first heard Sarah Whaley sing I knew she had what it takes to become not only an artist but a stylist.
Her ability to sing different music styles such as the Bluegrass ballad “ I Wonder What It’s Like In Love ” keeps the listeners attention from the first to the last note. Her performance on “ Unbreakable Heart ” brings a lump to my throat and a tear to my eye no matter how many times I listen to it. Her emotional vocal inflections make it so believable. Then she takes the listener in another direction when she expresses a teenage girl attitude about a confused boyfriend in her rendition of “ Liar ” in which we used a “Sitar” never used in a Country song.
As the producer I wanted to create a sound that would enhance Sarah’s diverse vocal talent and capture as many of those diverse and familiar sounds heard in recordings through out the past Millennium and incorporate them into this project and infuse them into a new sound. As you listen to each song you will hear new musical arrangements and instrumentation intermingled with vintage sounds from several genres of music styles.

After you've finished here, you may like to hear this folk-carol on myspace... Poem 230 of 230, WalkaboutsVerse (see my blog for details): CHRISTMAS SUNG SIMPLY
As gospellers have said, Beneath signalling skies, On land dusty to tread, A trough in a stable Was the strawy first-bed Of a divine baby - The forgiving Godhead.
A season for new hope - There then and here now; The yuletide of goodwill - There then and here now.
In respect of this chance, Beneath bright or dark skies, Faith's the star that we glance Attending Christ's churches And trying to enhance, With singing and ritual, Our God-loving stance.
