  • General

    I don't know where to begin. I've been playing guitar again. Teaching a bunch of rocker kids got me missing the feel of wood, strings and the strap around my back. Maybe I'm just getting old and this is my mini-mid-life crisis - a bright red shiny electric guitar. ROCK ON!

  • Music

    A little bit of everything, I suppose. Of late, I'm into the Beatles again. Hence the song. But I also really dig AC/DC, Norah Jones, Grand Funk, Type O Negative and about a million other bands and artists I can't fit here. We'd be at it all day.

  • Movies

    Those of you who know me well know that I have a weakness for vampire-lore. I'll read or watch any vamp film. What is it about creepy bloodsucking undead people that draws the public imagination so intensely? Love Pulp Fiction, The Fifth Element, and Adam Sandler in general. Really don't like Will Ferrell anymore. How often can he take of his close and act like a three year old and expect me to laugh? Other good vamp films include... From Dusk 'Til Dawn, Bram Stoker's Dracula (Complete with Keanu trying to be a Brit. LOL) Nadja (1994)

    I've given up TV. Life is too short to spend it sitting on your ass and watching other people doing dumb stuff on a big screen. Now, if I could just get away from this damn computer...

  • Books

    You name it, I've probably read it. I consume words like ice cream - I can't get enough. My faves have always been Anne Rice, Alice Borchardt (Anne's sister, RIP), Clive Barker and Stephen King.

    My son is my hero. He's always been, actually. Props to the BEAR. And my husband, for never giving up on me. He's a better person than I am in many ways.

.. Proud mama of a BMX rider-GO 051! If you watch the video below, you'll see that my son had racing in mind long before he could ride a bike. As for my hobbies, I really like to cook. I love to relax on weekends and make the most of my time with family. We fish, camp, ride our bikes and stay as active as possible. I'm opinionated to a fault, but I try very hard to keep my ideas to myself. Wouldn't want to offend and all that... But if you want to know, feel free to ask. Don't say you weren't warned!

    yeah its gunna suck big time lol but i have surgery tuesday next week then a week after that ill go into rehab and stuff so yeah it wont be fun but thats what i have to do
