Born in the Indiana town of Crown Point, Sarah Archer was raised by a family of talented musicians. Among the family of six children, Sarah found the voice she needed to be heard. After years of piano, voice and violin lessons, she set her sights on contributing to music on a more personal level and picked up her mothers ole six string. Having always had a way with words, it was no surprise that within a matter of days she had written her first song. Five years on, this striking 26 year old has expanded her musical repertoire and is catching the attention of many. With her inviting personality and amazing gift of song, Sarah has the unique ability to light up a room and maintain a powerful presence, one that stays with you long after you first experience her. Fans often say her voice is rich and powerful, yet one of an angel.
Sarahs ability to combine catchy melodies along with clever lyrics makes her stand out from her imitators in the mid-Atlantic music scene. Her music is elegant in all its simplicity and honest to the point that you never question what shes feeling. Her lyrics are something that everyone can find a bit of themselves in and relate to, making it feel as if youve known her for years.
Sarah has played everything from coffee shops to colleges throughout the Midwest and mid-Atlantic region. She currently finds herself in Valparaiso, IN, working hard with fellow musicians to make their mark on the music scene.
Sarah we're so sorry to hear about the accident! But good job for sticking with it and still playing! Once a performer, always a performer!
