I have been a promoter for years, but TOMS Bar is what I did for the last few years.. hopefully I'm going to be starting anew here in West Wales providing we can find some venues that suits our needs. Then we are in for a whole lot of fun

We have worked with Thousands of bands over the last 10 years, As an agent, promoter and manager, we worked with young Bands that matured into some of the more well known bands you all hear on Scuzz and Kerrang Today.
Then as a venue owner we put on awsome shows with well known bands, local bands, new bands and even bands as young as 12 years old. 7 nights a week over two floors..

I love films,lost boys, the craft, interview with a vampire ore favorites but anything gothic and dark. Also like action films and some comedy. just don't watch too much TV

Not a lot, except csi, ncis, ghost whisperer..But won't ever miss the Rugby during the six nations.
Books
I love to read when I get chance. DEAN KOONTZ, Stephen King, Richard Layman, Shaun Hudson, Terry Pratchet, Robert R mcCammon and loads more. Love to vist book fairs and like to visit HAY ON WYE at least twice a year.

About me:
My name is Sarah
I am a Promoter, Band Manager and Event Organiser. I have spent most of my life organising gigs and working with all types of bands. I recently moved to West Wales and it is probably the best thing I have done in years.
I used to own Sanctuary Music Venue And Toms Rock Bar. Which was based in Treforest in Pontypridd. I ran this amazing venue along side my other half Gareth. We had great teams of staff over the last 5 years and we have made some amazing friends. We had some Fantastic nights/shows here and we will have some awsome memories for life. But after all our hard work, the venue slid into oblivion and like so many other awsome venues, We were forced to close our doors in May 2008. We were gutted. We lost everything. So we closed up and moved on..
We had set out in the entertainment world a few years previous to owning TOMS, as a DJ, and a Singer in a band. WE worked In many different Pubs & Venues, Festivals & Fields, from Solo musicians & DJ's, Singers, Performers and Bands but all we ever wanted was our own place. Somewhere that was HOME, not just for us, BUT FOR EVERYBODY ELSE OUT THERE WHO FEELS AS PASSONATE ABOUT MUSIC AS WE DO I'm just Sorry we were forced to leave.. My TOP FRIENDS are made up of SOME OF THOSE AMAZING PEOPLE WE HAVE WORKED WITH over the last 20 years check them out they are all great...........

How are ya? Keeping well? We've changed our band name recently, and just thought we'd let you know about it.
We decided to change from KALEB to DETHONATOR, owing to the presence of other artists trading under the name KALEB. Our new band name DETHONATOR has been chosen to avoid confusion and to promote a brand that stands alone.
We play our first 2 shows of 2009 this week in Cardiff Barfly. There are still some tickets left so go to the link below or you can pay on the door if you would prefer to risk it :)
