"Sarah Ayers might be singing about her vulnerabilities, but she comes off like a driven, tough-minded survivor determined to craft her own destiny. Rambunctious and rocking but with a songwriter's sense of polish, 3 AM Epiphany marks Ayers as a blues-rocker to watch." -Ken Bays, Managing Editor, Blues Revue
"With her vast musical background and experience, Sarah Ayers could excel at singing just about any style of music! 3 AM Epiphany is a hard-hitting, attention-getting, well-produced title that stands out among the many blues releases we have received. Well worth a listen and then several more!" - Dave Johnson, host of the nationally-syndicated Blues Deluxe radio program
A powerful vocalist of dramatic intensity, Ayers also contributes most of the band’s catchy, smart songs, notably the swampy “Hook Me Up” and the rocking declaration of independence “Red Dress.'
- Tom Hyslop, Blues Revue
Sarah Ayers has known she wanted to sing professionally ever since she drew applause from her high chair at age two by serenading the dining room at New York's Plaza Hotel. She earned her bachelor's degree in opera performance and studio teaching from Susquehanna University. In her senior year she had the honor of being one of the youngest to ever win an award at the Metropolitan Opera Competition. Sarah has sung opera with a wide range of companies from the Reading Orchestra to the Anchorage Opera Company. It was in Anchorage, Alaska that Sarah got her first taste of the blues, singing Janis Joplin, Etta James, and Koko Taylor covers with the 76th Street Blues Band and Paul Byrd and the Escalators. Sarah got her start in the local blues scene when she filled in for six months for lead singer Beverly Conklin of BC & The Blues Crew, one of the Lehigh Valley's most respected and talented blues bands. At the Lehigh Valley Music Awards, Sarah has had he honor of being named Best Female Vocalist for five consecutive years (2003-2007), in addition to over 20 other awards for her band and recording efforts.

Hi Sarah! I hope you all are well, and will have great hits this Friday and Saturday in CT. We'll be in NH on Friday, but our show on the 14th is early evening in Woburn Ma, so the plan is to stop in for a late-ish hang at the Main Pub. You'll love it there (Sally's too).
The melody in your soul will echo the melody you have sung or spoken. Persist in the practice, speaking always in kindly tones, looking out of kindly eyes, cherishing kindly feelings, and the habit of kindliness and good cheer will become a second nature. Your face will be transfigured by the spirit's high endeavour, and the light of it will comfort and stimulate yourself and others with the power of living sunshine.
"Whoever is capable of joy may learn to maintain it. Wonderful are the results of training in enjoyment." ~ Sara Hubbard Live right up to your highest and best! If you have made mistakes in the past, reparation lies not in regrets, but in thankfulness that you now know better.
