notes that swoop, things that are jazzy and raw, different laughs, the beats that make me dance or drive 95 mph, warm and round vibrato, the blues!!! honesty, raspy subtlety, birds singing, rain falling, echoes...
"...a unique combination of Ella Fitzgerald and Ani DiFranco" ~Face Magazine
"The perfect blend of Joni Mitchell and Ella Fitzgerad." ~ Ron Bowen, program director, WXRV 92.5 the River
"If only we had another Woodstock, we'd have the next Joni Mitchell."..."This generation's Tracy Bonham."..."The kamikaze karate kid."..."A breath of fresh air, in a furnace of pop hell."..."The female version of Maynard James Keenan."..."A rabid bad-ass!"
"I am blinded so stupid from your songs that I could be robbed at gun point...willingly. When listening to the soul of your songs I feel like I am safely aboard a hot air balloon flying up and over things dangerous and beautiful. And I am smiling looking out and over these collisions, and I am saying WOW so this is what a balloon ride is like. Your songs do resonate long after the singing ends." ~ myspace fans- locally & internationally.

Hi guys, here's a little bit about me. If you want more, just ask. I'm hopelessly clumsy. I'm learning how not to be too much of a perfectionist. I'm very sarcastic, and I cannot tell a lie. I call my dog Yeffren, but his real name is Beasley. I believe in faeries and gnomes, and angels. I'm a very open person, and find myself perplexed when people are selfish and cold. My parents call me, 'Perpetual Motion,' and 'Sarah the Loud.' I love to get into philosophical conversations, but I also love being alone. I get anxious when I don't get to be in the woods. I'm moved by things that smell pleasant. I've been singing since I was 8, and danced ballet, tap and jazz for 10 years. I taught myself guitar when I was 17, so that I could write songs with it, but stopped playing when my hands gave out on me in college. I wrote all new songs once I started playing guitar again. When I improvise on the piano I feel like I'm swimming. When I perform I feel like I'm flying. When I sing, I feel like an open vessel. I love metaphors, and I love to use lots of words. I'm going to stop before I do so.

PLEASE come to Southern Maine sometime soon. I saw you in Massachusetts once where I grew up a few years back and I loved it. Maine would absolutely love your sound - we have a huge market/following for your type of music up here, especially around Portland.
There is a great show coming up at the Waterville Opera house for female songwriters/singers, though this one is already booked - there will probably be another one.
I am from the suburbs of philly, so I do still kind of have a lot of shit there. Thursday sounds great, I feel like I have something I have to do, but I think I am wrong, so I should be able to make it.
Yes. You do infact "rattle our bones." Fantastic show last night and a pleasure to meet you. I don't know who the madman that played bass on delirium(sp?) is, but he is my new bass hero. Hopefully I can catch a show soon. -Jim

Hey, sorry I missed your Plough gig-- I had another show to go to, and I'm gonna miss the Middle East because of shows in Hopkinton, but I noticed my friends posted that you may be playing with them at All Asia soon. Is this true? If so, fabulous! I like it when people I know are all playing together. Hooray.
