I am a lyricist (among other things in life! But that’s the part I played in these here tunes anyway). For 15 years, my writing partner has been the phenomenal pianist/vocalist/composer Amber deLaurentis, and we are very excited to announce the release of our long-awaited (but so worth it!) first full-length cd, "Hey Sadie," out now!! To buy a copy, visit our website: www.amberdelaurentis.com. The deLaurentis/Blue song "Lonely in Love" took 2nd place in the "Pop" category of the Billboard International Songwriting Contest; our "Calliope Calling" placed in the John Lennon Songwriting Contest; and our Amber deLaurentis Band 6-song ep was voted "Best Live Album" by the Just Plain Folks Musicians Network. The Amber deLaurentis Band also won the grand prize at the Discmakers/Billboard Independent Music World Series (Northeast) in NYC (followed by a residency at the Bitter End), showcasing a set of tunes all composed with my lyrics.
In addition to being a lyricist, I am also a glass artisan, animal-lover, book-ish, quiet-type person. I graduated from Hampshire College, and now work as a researcher, cataloguing 18th, 19th and 20th century English and American literary manuscript material.
I enjoy traveling, but also love my funky old house, which is tucked away into a hillside of Central New York. I’ve worked to reach a point in life where I’ve surrounded myself with light, color and peace, and now I’m looking for friends and collaborators to share it with. It’s a beautiful world. Check out "Hey Sadie" and let me know what you think! email me at SarahEBlue@gmail.com
I'm just so lucky to have been able to experience all you 'n' Amber's awesome work!!! And that line and song are among my favoritest favorites. Helen's laughing at the cats--they're demanding their tuna IN UNISON, hee hee....XOXOXO

Best wishes,
Hi Sarah,
Thanks for including me as one of your friends.
I love your writing, & enjoyed "Calliope Calling" in particular, but I'm certain, that once I get to know your work better; I will have "many" favourites.
Seems strange how lost i had to get to be found.
My imagination ran wild,
my fallen youth my soulful child.
My pity lost in the tumble,
as my mind fell out of bounds.
my youth won't seem to end but truth
truth shines a light on my path
my path looses my pain and my youth
is youthful again.
Thanks again and god bless,
please drop by my page and let me know what you think.
Thanks,
Peace,
Brandon.
