This is Gråinne, my comedy comrade and co-founder of Cheese and Pineapple before the Edinburgh Festival last year:
and at the end of Week 3...
you can always tell how bad Gråinne’s hangover is by the flatness of her hair. the fact that the ear is visible goes to show that this one was almost fatal.
when I'm not focussing on components 2) and 3) I do stand-up, write sketches (and perform in em), and do the odd Wacky Project. the most recent of which was pretending to be a car for MTV...
so far in '09:
˚∆˚ I wrote and performed in LaughterShock, a stand-up and sketch show pilot for BBC3. fingers crossed.
˚∆˚ I was the resident topical content writer for Myspace Comedy UK (when they had budget for that kind of thing...) you can see a couple of examples in the clips player above, although I've taken most of them down as their topicality has withered.
˚∆˚ In March 09 i won the BBC "7 on 7" topical sketch-writing competition. I got to brainstorm with David Mitchell from Mitchell and Webb. We came up with a totally unbroadcastable sketch about Jade Goody.
˚∆˚ Also developing my comedy club The Cheese and Pineapple Club (see opposite!) into a sitcom with some lovely webby-telly folk.
˚∆˚ Here's some sketches I made with my special friend Josh for Funny or Die:
˚∆˚ I'm also playin around with a character called Special Agent Bush (her Quantum of Solace trailer is up there in the player) , when I get a minute to myself I'll making proper webisodes! In the meantime check out the teasers here:
˚∆˚ Here are some sketches with me in em, written by the awesome Ben Green aka greensville:

Ever wondered what to do in the event of a nuclear threat?
A while ago I found stuff that inspired me to make this film:
Living Under the Shadow of the Nuclear Umbrella
Both artistic (ensure you get the background music!) and educational, it primarily comprises official British government civil defence advice.
Though source materials are quite aged, much remains relevant today.
