About me:
Sarah Chalmers
I am a grade 12 highschool student, trying to make a bit of a name for myself in the art industry and make a little extra money. After a lot of people started asking me to draw pictures for them, I decided to start a small business selling portraits :)
They make great gifts for friends, parents, grandparents, birthdays, anniversaries (yes I can do more than one person in one drawing), anything. The portrait doesn't even have to be of them, it could be of their favourite music artist or a favourite actor, a friend, a pet, etc.
I charge about $40 to $60 for a 8.5"x11" portrait, depending on how long I spent on the drawing and how much detail I put into it. I have one other size available at the moment, 24" x 18" and I can cut the paper to whichever size you want, smaller than that (ask for prices of larger sized paper). I also draw pets, however they will cost a little more as they take much longer to draw, $50 - $70 on 8.5"x11" paper. Any of the celebrity drawings I have done are being sold as prints, for $15 each.
As long as you provide me with a picture (via email or mail, if you like) I will have your drawing done at the latest in 2 weeks, but I will make a point to have it done as soon as possible.
Everything I do is, for the most part, in pencil, I have a couple works in charcoal, acrylic paints, and pencil crayon but I prefer to stick with pencil.
