    Little Anna is gone. She fell asleep and didn’t wake up the afternoon of  Friday 13.  Every  morning she rejoiced that she was here. It is wonderful she woke up this morning and was aware of everything and there was a glorious sunrise . Many of her poems were filled with the joy she felt when she saw the sunrise- now she feels she will see the Son. Several of us, her friends and family, will be posting her poems and photos and writings and maintaining this site for her. We will respond to comments and try and find all of her writings and un-posted pictures.  She wanted to be remembered and kept alive by her poetry.
    She wrote personal notes to her friends whose mailing address she had. She left me instructions to contact you and tell you for her that she had passed.  
    Anna R. Haze was with us and we were blessed
    May 1, 1992- May 13, 2011  she made 19 years!

    hi sarah, i really like ur books! last night i red dreamland, it made me cry at the end when caitlin's mom found her on the ground cause of rogerson. i jus cried and cried. other than that, i really like keeping the moon. so far, my fav is the truth about forever. ttyl! :)

    I've always heard stuff like `live life to the fullest` and `no regrets` and `you dont wana look back and think `what if" but when i read along for the ride the whole story lead up to `get back on the bike` and how the alternative is worse because you never tried. So i always thought i was doing well until i read your book. The story clicked with me and i realized i wasnt trying hard enough. So thank you for your awesome books (especially along for the ride)!

    Okay, so here's the thing: I'm really indecisive. And it seems like this profile is, like, all about naming specific things. So I'm getting all High Fidelity about it, worried the minute I finish I'll think of ten others and then I'll have to go back to edit, and then edit again, and the next thing you know I won't do anything but tinker with it all day long and my career, such as it is, will end. So what can I say? I love to read (a requisite for a writer) and spend entirely too much time on the internet (see above). I watch a lot of television, a fact I used to be ashamed of, and now, not so much. This fall, it will be ten years since my first book came out, a fact that officially blows my mind. A couple of years back, two of my novels were made into a movie called How to Deal. Right now, I'm waiting for my seventh book, Just Listen,, to come out in April. Writing is honestly the only thing I've ever been able to say with any certainty that I do well. I am fair to middling at just about everything else, including but not limited to: cooking, cleaning (okay, less than middling on that one), discussing politics, balancing my checkbook and any and all sports. But if you want someone to quickly summarize this season of Gilmore Girls WHILE making deviled eggs, I am your girl.
