can I say traveling even though I haven't really gone anywhere and have no money to do so at the moment? Constant interests: Literatures (esp. those gender related, written for or about children, by a southerner, or having to do with hauntings/ghosts:-), film and film theories, feminisms and gender politics, anything creative (photography, decorating, making art out of stuff around the house, cooking; you can see some of it at www.tinyclementine.etsy.com) Current interests: politics (thanks to NPR)

Heroes
NPR...bringing actual news to a handful of Americans who actually care to listen. And I don't know if he's exactly a hero, but having Dr. Paul Holloway as a professor changed my life.
About me: ...I like going to movies alone, reading in coffee shops at night, watching Buffy with Steve, applying feminisms, observing and deconstructing, renting scary movies with Courtney, dark Dark chocolate, Anthropologie, hating on the Oprah show:-), visiting Amy and Dani in Atlanta, Project Runway, going to Disney World with my family, the sound of my phone ringing, playing the "are they on their first date" game, hugs from Phillip, Charlotte and Lizzie, the beer sampler at Carolina Brewery, the smell of old book stores, kisses from Clementine, cuddling with Hamilton, Judith Viorst, finding yummy restaurants with Steve........I don't like crowded or cluttered places, hot days, white chocolate, confrontation of almost any kind, close talkers, gorgonzola stuffed figs wrapped in proscuitto (blech), Everybody Loves Raymond, Mary Daly's theories, unquestioned/unchallenged positions, theories or beliefs, closed minds, white tea, the squeaking sound that cotton balls make, a particular set/denomination of religious belief that will go unnamed:-), the idea of milk and eggs, feeling like I'm the only person in the room that notices that something/someone is strange...

I can't believe it has been 2 years since I bumped in to you! I live in NYC now, but we kept our place in Bradenton, so we come home a lot. Happy anniversary :) Glad you got to see Pics of Jax......He is tons of fun :)
Yay!!!! Hi friend!!! I just joined MySpace the other day...I held out for so long, but finally succombed to peer pressure. I have to say I now understand how people can sit at a computer all day long; this is WAY too addicting! How have you been my friend? Your husband looks like a very nice guy; congrats! So weird to say that still....husband. Don't you feel old?
Here's a truly dorky thing: after your comment on my page about Buffy, I decided to take a "which Buffy-verse character are you" quiz similar to the one you have posted.
That's geeky enough, but I answered the questions somewhat honestly about the real me in the real world the first time through, not as if I lived in that world...so obviously I came out as Xander. My second closest was Angel, though, so that rocks.
I doubt many people who'd take those quizzes would answer as if it's a real personality quiz, though...as if they have no powers and don't encounter flesh and blood demons, etc.
Last night I went over to see Liz and Hattie Landry with Daniel, Kristen, and Andrew and Liz popped in her tape of Robin Hood. It was kinda random since I'd recently made a comment about that on my page.
How is it we saw each other several times a week from 1999 to 2003, and never once talked about how we both liked Buffy the Vampire Slayer? I have all the seasons of Angel on dvd.
hey whats up havent seen or talked to you sence high school what you been up too

I feel like I've asked before, but do you like Firefly and/or Serenity?
