Hope this last week was good to you! Just wanted to let ya know we've got two great shows coming up this week. The first will be on Thursday night, Oct 8th @ The Echoplex is Silverlake,Ca. We'll be jammin with some of our musical heros growing up. The Mr. Green Allstars (Vernon Reid-Living Colour, Rocky George-Suicidal Tendancies, Peligro-The Dead Kennedys) We've been fans of all these fellas for many years and it will be a great pleasure to share the stage with them. We should hit the stage sometime around 9pm.
Also, coming up this weekend, Saturday oct 10th, we will be hosting the first ever all acoustic night at The Loft (5029 York Bl in Highland Park) this will coincide with the York Blvd Art Walk and will be FREE. We have a bunch of great artists performing and will also leave the stage open for anyone else who would like to get up there and play a couple tunes. Should be a great week, and we'd love to see ya out and about!
Good day friendo! just wanted to let ya know about our next show. It will be on Wednesday night, September 16th at the Dakota Live Music Lounge in Santa Monica. ( 1026 Wilshire Blvd) 90401, It's a fantastic venue with great live sound, two big rooms to hang in, and a super friendly staff. The cover is only $5 and the bands start at 9pm. We will be joined by our pals Burnt Matches-9pm, followed by Phantom Communique at 10pm, then we'll close the night, hitting the stage at 11pm and hopefully doing a little longer set! Lots and lots of rock. Please join us, and if you've never been, you'll dig it! Also, thanks to all who attended the last show at The Loft. It was one of the best to date and we had a blast! The only reason I am keeping this myspace thing is so I can keep being informed about shows like the one of the 16th of this month. or 15th. Anyway, I will be there at Molly Molones. Looking forward to seeing you perform again!
Things have been busy as hell in our neck of the woods. Most importantly, we'd like to welcome our new guitar player to The Other Side of Morning. His name is Tim and he's wicked. We've been friends for years, and always wanted the double guitar onslaught of the twin dragons . He's jumped right in and our first show with him will be this coming Friday night, August 21st at The Loft in Highland Park,CA. (5029 York Blvd) He's a huge addition to the group, and if you thought we made some big sounds before, you're in for a treat! We hit at 11pm!
We've also been doing a bunch of work at The Loft and recently built a stage and drum riser, for the shows and pimped out the room quite a bit. It's an even cooler atmosphere now, so come check out the pad and our new axman next Friday night. 5 bands,5 bucks, djs, artists, cheap drinks, lots of fun!
