*Sarahgreen played bass for an all girl indie quartet called Relish. Relish was sponsored by Volcom Ent. and put Relish on the Warped Tour where they played with bands like CKY, Pennywise, Rancid, The Donnas, NOFX, and 311. Relish also played SXSW that year.
*Sarahgreen then moved to a small village in Northern Ca. known as Curry Village, Yosemite. She brought a guitar, the albums mentioned under her musical influences, and a car full of clothes. For 2 months Sarahgreen wrote and played guitar under the stars.
*In 2005 Sarahgreen relocated to Long Beach, Ca. She continued to write songs and play other instruments with other local musicians. She recorded Songs for Sadness, an indie released sketch of the songs she had composed earlier that year. Stacks of them were sold to fans attending local shows, introducing Sarahgreen to her fan base. Other demos were recorded and released as well.
*Following Songs For Sadness, Sarahgreen continued to play any show anywhere. She was asked to play The Coach House in South O.C., which became a sold out event. It was there she met Robin DiMaggio, who played drums for legends such as David Bowie, Tracy Chapman, and Paul Simon. They talked about drums and how they both shared a love for Edie Brickell and Matt Chamberlain. She also was introduced to Bill Pfordresher, recording industry executive and founder of Songcast.
*Sarahgreen was approached by Bill and Robin to make a record in 2006. She called it Emergency. Emergency was recorded in Studio B at Capitol Studios in Hollywood, Ca. Her debut album features the talents of Michael Bearden on piano (Yoko Ono, Michael Jackson, Stevie Wonder) and the mysterious vocals of Indian violinist L. Shankar on the covertly religious track Bullets & Bibles.
*For the promotion of Emergency, 2007 was the year Sarahgreen toured the Western U.S. and played all venues she could book including sidewalks in Portland, OR. Emergency was an independent release by the artist herself.
*In 2008 Sarahgreen was nominated for Best Written/Recorded Material and Best Live Acoustic Female in The Orange County Music Awards. Later in the year, she won The Fan Favorite award in the SoCal Music Competition.
*Sarahgreen will be releasing an EP titled 7 soon. She is working with handpicked talent to make 7 your favorite release yet. A new website will be launched as 7 is released at www.sarahgreenmusic.com. For updated info. and to listen to new recordings, be Sarahgreen’s friend.

"Observational, experiential, and fearless, Sarahgreen is a homegrown talent with a myriad of
influences (jazz, singer-songwriters like Elliot Smith, Ani DiFranco, and Heather Nova, trip-hop pioneers Massive Attack to name a few). Her star is sure to rise quickly, so be one of the first on your block to own Sarahgreen's album Emergency".

" Sarahgreen has written music that echoes so many of the stories we hear at RPWC. She lyrically merges struggle with hope in a way that's beautifully real". -Random People Who Care
"Angels and the Devil" is a slow, well-produced and recorded song with great, imagery-laden lyrics. It's a pretty heavy tune about going through some extremely difficult times, but that is what songwriting is for. It's a great way to release your deepest inner thoughts, and that's exactly what Green does with a very impressive lyrical style."- Listeners' Generation
