Sarah jane Keith is a life long student of music with 14 years of professional training in classical and, more recently jazz, voice, 6 years teaching voice to others, and is a 10 year veteran performer in venues across the country. Staying true to her desire to be a well rounded musician, she has also played piano for most of her life and has been strumming guitar for the past 4 years.
Sarah jane earned a B.A. in Music, with a concentration in Music Therapy from California State University- Northridge in 2008, and an A.A. in Music with honors from Santa Barbara City College in 2004. While at school, she concentrated on Music Therapy and gained valuable field work experience working with special needs populations, including kids and adults with autism, mental retardation, and cerebral palsy, as well as older adults with Alzheimer’s and Hospice patients.
Her eclectic performance experience includes appearances at Carnegie Hall in NYC with the New England Symphonic Ensemble, Disney Concert Hall in LA with Grammy Winner, Diane Reeves, and the LA Philharmonic, Johnny Depp’s Viper Room in Hollywood as a solo singer/ songwriter, and a featured songwriter in the Frank Brown International Songwriting Festival.

A chamelon of styles, what is heard here is just a sampling of what i sing. Jazz and blues, funk and soul, folk and country, complete improvisational whatevers... musical theater and classical opera. I usually define my sound as

Isn't that funny getting back in touch with all those guys?! I know... Yes we did go to the show and it was great! I like zach as much as jack! anywho, we went to the show last time they toured and met zack and jack(friends of ours lived in HA with jack)and got to sit on the stage that time and I remember zach being life of the party. This time no go on backstage or stage seating b/c the show was so much bigger, but we saw zach perform alone before the show---keep meaning to get his cd now.... Hope all is well with you!!
