“You dangerous already” Bo Diddley once said of Sarah Kramer’s trumpet playing after a gig they played.
Born in Germany, raised in New Jersey, Sarah started trumpet at the age of nine. At sixteen, she picked up the guitar and began songwriting.
For the past fifteen years, she has played with numerous artists all the while polishing a singular and genuine sound as a solo performer. Sarah spent nearly a decade performing a variety of music styles in her beloved city, New Orleans. It was there she was invited to sit in with Levon Helm, Eddie Bo, Cyril Neville, Snooks Eaglin, and many others plus lead her own band. Now residing in Los Angeles, Sarah Kramer continues to make music offerings in voice, song, and horn.
She can be heard on the title track of the latest Leonard Cohen record, Dear Heather, and on various other recent recordings..................................................................................................
