Sarah Main, born in Sydney and currently residing in Ibiza is the first female DJ to rise from the Australian dance scene. Talented, sexy, sassy and vivacious, Sarah's has a long standing residency at Pacha: Ibiza and is renowned the world over for her technical abilities and unique signature sound that consists of smooth house, rocking electro and jacking sleazy beats.

Over the past 6 years Sarah has held infamous weekly sessions at Pacha through which her passion and talent have become widely recognized. Both Erick Morillo and Pete Tong have recently quoted her as the best resident DJ and David Morales, after hearing her play, invited her to play at his birthday at Cavo Paradiso in Mykonos . She has been nominated twice at the Ibiza DJ awards and in 2006 Sarah won the highly acclaimed DJ Award for ‘Best Ibiza DJ'.

In 2005, Sarah took on a residency alongside Pete Tong at Pure Pacha, Pacha's flagship Friday in Ibiza, and continues her residency there to date. She has mixed, alongside Pete Tong, all 3 installments of the ‘Pure Pacha' compilation series and in 2006 released her first mix compilation on the Australian market. Throughout her association with Pacha, Sarah has also mixed various other CDs which include ‘Pacha: Ibiza - Winter Sessions', ‘Pacha: Japan ' and ‘Pacha Experience 2 '.

From her residency at Pacha, Sarah has taken her sound around the world and maintains a busy DJ schedule. She has now played in over 30 countries and on every continent and also hosts the weekly ‘Pacha' radio show on Galaxy FM which broadcasts to a prime time audience of more than 300,000. In 2007, Sarah has also taken on a weekly radio show on National Radio FG in France where she fills a showcase slot on Saturday nights.

Currently working in the studio on collaborations with a number of the industry's hottest producers, Sarah not only epitomizes the sound of Pacha but also its image. Both stylish and glamorous, Sarah has featured in many of the club's photographic campaigns including a cover shoot for the Pacha magazine alongside Smokin Jo and Tania Vulcano. Sarah has made her film debut, appearing as herself in ‘It's All Gone Pete Tong' alongside Carl Cox, Paul Van Dyk and many other well known industry faces. She also scored the “Pacha Fitness” DVD directed by Dominic Anciano.

Essentially, Sarah is one major talent who will be keeping up the pressure. Watch out for the continuation of her prolific DJ schedule and a number of her own productions forthcoming in the near future.
