My name is Sarah McDowd. I am the very antithesis of a "model", and I'm ok with that. I'm not stupid, I'm not promiscuous, I'm not snobby, and I don't have any desire to personify these things just because you think I should. Sitting in front of a camera does not take away from my redeeming qualities... and if you think so, maybe you need to work on your own 'redeeming' qualities. Moving on...
I am a huge dork. Like... a supermega ginormous dork. Sometimes I say really inappropriate shit at the wrong time. It's a special skill of mine. I don't know how to cook. I hate doing boring shit like driving around and standing in stupid lines. I am always up for a spontaneous adventure. I need to work on my potty mouth. I'm a really sweet and loyal girl but I'm the furthest thing from a pushover. I am endlessly entertained by making an idiot of myself. I'm very book-smart but not at ALL street-smart. I love to see concerts and I love to stuff my face with food and I love to have fun and I love life and I love people and I love my family and I love your mother and I love run-on sentences.
I cohosted a TV show called Innervision Unplugged, which was a musical showcase/fundraiser. I served on the planning committee for the Climb to Conquer Cancer event, and volunteereed for Habitat for Humanity. When I moved to California I was volunteering as an adult literacy tutor in my spare time. I'd like to get back into something like that once my schedule allows.
I am interested in everything this world has to offer, and I plan on experiencing as much of it as possible. I love to learn. It is one of my favorite things to do! I just want to be a friggin' POLYMATH.
I do read and approve all comments- if you didn't make the cut, it was probably wildly inappropriate and/or offensive. And bless your hearts, but if you are going to send me a comment with enough glittery blinky crap to give me a seizure as well as take up half my page, it probably won't get approved either. So I am moving to Orange County fairly soon to get myself out of the mid-west and was wondering if you had any suggestions as to record shops, vintage shops, good resturants and skate parks or anything else that would please my rock n' roll heart for myself to check out once I'm down there.
