Hi! My name is Sarah. I'm a musician, or at least that's what it says on my visa. One customs official in Belgium didn't believe me once and made me sing a song for all the staff or wouldn't let me through, talk about an
abuse of power...geez how embarrassing. I sang "Till There Was You"
by The Beatles, something everyone can enjoy :)
I'm a guitar player but i prefer to play the drums
I write songs. Lots of them. All the time. I have a bit of a method
to it, it takes 2 to 3 days to complete..production and all.
I spend day one on the acoustic/or piano getting the chords melody
and lyrics together. By the end of day one i like to have recorded a
rough version with a simple beat onto my laptop. Day two is all about finding out the best way to produce the track cause when its an acoustic ditty it can end up as ANYTHING so sometimes you gotta try different styles and grooves. .By the end of day two i usually consider the demo finished, loops programmed, all instrumentation recorded and vocals complete.Day three is usually waking up to it after a good nights sleep and realising that its either the wrong tempo or in the wrong key or
something and i usually either start again or change things dramatically. By the
end of day three it is all complete and i mix into the night to wake up to a finished product the next day. This is my favourite day.
I am super happy with everything when i am writing, life seems
great...nothing at all can bother me, .. cause I am writing. Some people
do drugs... i write !
The love of my life is by dog Chachi... But i think you guys already know this :)
My favourite film of all time is still Superman The Movie.. it is a
classic: Gene Hackman, Marlon Brando.. AND it won an Academy award. Forget
the sequels. The original is the only one to watch
I am and have always been obsessed with Marlin Brando in "The Wild
One".. it's one of the reasons i ride a Triumph.
My favourite TV show is "Happy Days" or was happy days..It's not on
any more. I loved the Fonz...who also loved Brando!!!! I named my dog
after his cousin Chachi. My other favourite characters in the show
were the Molarchi brothers who always used to say "Let the pigeons
loose!" when something good would happen. Much like how Ari Gold in
Entourage always yells "Boom!" when something good happens. OH YEAH!
I love Ari Gold too. Entourage is supreme..
I love to eat, i love to cook. I never use recipe books, i think
that using cook books of any sort is cheating.. anyone can do THAT! The real skill is in doing it with no idea :) I think this way about street directories and handbooks for new pieces of equipment (its actually really stupid but its a thing i have)
I like to make strange meals , Im really good at making something
out of nothing, its my speciality.
I have no specific home at the moment, all my furniture is in storage in Sydney..Some is back in LA.. and some in Adelaide. I travel a lot. Last year i lived in New York and Miami for most of the year. This year i have divided my life between LA and London.
My favourite thing in the world is decking out a new pad, which is probably why i move so much. I love to plan where the furniture will go and put up cool lights and make it all really cosy. I do this with every
> place i stay, even hotel rooms.... gotta give it the personal touch :)
My favourite fashion label is Balenciaga... and MARC JACOBS!

I listen to all sorts of music, from Wagner to Jay Z to Coldplay
... Daft Punk .. Robyn to...Lots of Kanye West... to ..would you believe...Norah Jones on a Sunday morning.. NOOOO WAYYYY..!! yes way. French Toast and listening to Norah. Love it... Just don't tell anyone :)
