Hey! My name is Sarah McMullen and I am a 14 year old singer/songwriter/actress & dancer from Kansas where I spend a lot of time performing. In the spring of 2009, I flew out to LA for 2 months in order to pursue my acting and singing dreams. I am represented by The Savage Agency in Los Angeles and Exposure in the Kansas City area. In February of 2009 I was lucky enough to begin working under the creative direction of Jonathan George, president of JJPZ Talent Development. So far I have cowritten and recorded two original songs with him, along with the help of Anthony Mazza, a wonderful musician and producer who has also been a huge influence in writing and recording my songs! In addition to my original songs, I also recorded a cover of “Decode” by Paramore, which was so fun as I am a huge fan of the movie “Twilight”. Look for me in 2010 in a SAG film called "Last Ounce of Courage", with actors Marshall Teague, Jennifer O'Neill, Nikki Novak, Rusty Joiner, Fred Williamson, Hunter Gomez (National Treasure) and Jenna Boyd (Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants) to mention a few. I also was featured in a commercial for MicroSmores, was a two time regional grand prize-winner of the Radio Disney Hannah Montana talent competition, have done voice-overs, modeling, and am part of a performing dance troupe. I feel blessed that God has given me so many gifts and I hope to put them to good use. I love acting, singing, writing songs and dancing and I am so excited that I am able to pursue my dreams with the help of my family and the people I work with! A special thanks to Linda Gomez for opening so many doors for me.All my love to Jonathan, Anthony, my agents at Savage and Exposure, all my acting teachers Lily Knight, Patrick Day at the Young Actors Space and Nancy Marcy at the Coterie Theater,my voice teachers, my many dance teachers at Miller Marley and to Darrel Campbell, Rodney Stone & Richard & Gina Headrick for giving me the wonderful role of Reagan in the film Last Ounce of Courage. Last but not least, I would like to thank my grandparents Jerre and Barbara Haskew for sharing their love of music with me. Check out their folk music group the Cumberland Trio. The first song I ever recorded was a children's song written by them. I am truly blessed by God and my wonderful family, friends, teachers, mentors and all those that have helped me along the way..
