Im Gepäck nur ihr Klavier und eine Stimme, die unter die Haut geht - so hat die Songwriterin Sarah Straub jahrelang ihr Publikum verzaubert. Vor knapp 2 Jahren fasste sie dann den Entschluss, ein Pop-Album zu produzieren, mit viel kreativer Freiheit und Mut zur Neuinterpretation ihrer wunderschönen Songs. Und nun ist es fertig, ihr Erstlingswerk mit dem Namen "say what you're missing", mit welchem Sarah gerade die Aufmerksamkeit der süddeutschen Musikszene auf sich zieht. Seit Kurzem ist sie zusammen mit ihrer Band in das „BY-on-Förderprojekt" aufgenommen worden, ein Spitzenförderprojekt für bayrische Rock & Pop-Künstler, welches von der bayrischen Staatskanzlei mitgetragen wird. Akkustischer Singer-Songwriter-Pop trifft auf Jazz, R&B, Soul und Rock - und über allem schwebt die unverwechselbare Stimme von Sarah Straub; zusammen mit dem wunderbar natürlichen Charme der Sängerin entsteht so auf ihren Konzerten eine Magie, der man sich nur schwer entziehen kann. Zusätzlich unterstützt wird Sarah Straub von ihrer erstklassigen Band, bestehend aus Schlagzeug/Percussion, Bass, Keyboard/Rhodes, Gitarre und Cello. "Wir sind eingetaucht in ihre Musik und wollten gar nicht mehr auftauchen..." lautet ein Eintrag zu einem Youtube-Video von Sarah Straub. Überzeugt euch selbst!
