Sarah attempts to unite humanity through the exploration of social and emotional taboos using the medium of Comedy. The marginal success she has had in achieving this feat is at best only questionable. To be honest, most of her jokes end up being about sex......
"As a masochist, looking for a way to be constantly made fun of and belittled every day, it occurred to me that a simple way to achieve this was to be a Kiwi living in Australia. This dream became a reality when I emigrated to Brisbane from Aotearoa/NZ in 2006......At the ripe old age of 24, I decided to impart my years of wisdom upon unsuspecting audiences around Brisbane and I have been Standing-Up at venues around South East Queensland ever since......" - Sarah Pember.
Sarah appears regularly at Chalk Hotel, Treasury and Jupiter’s Casinos, and Brisbane’s Sit Down Comedy Open Mic Clubs.
