Sarah Reddington is on a temporary hiatus as it stands at this point. Tex Winters and Peter Hofstad are in Portland, Oregon working and waiting. The rest of the band is still in Denton, Texas schooling and procrastinating. One day, they will be reunited and the blood will flow again, and the roofs will raise some more, and there will be more birthday cake.
You can help get them back together! If you have a lot of money, you could waive it in front of them until they agree to quit all that schoolin' bullshit, or on the other hand, if you are a record label that wants to put out their records and send them across the country on tour, you might also have some luck.
if you are poor, and don't run a record label, you could always head to Recycled Records in Denton and pick this record up:
Sarah Reddington- All Our Friends Have Gone Missing (Available at Recycled Records)
What some nice people have said about us:
"Sarah Reddington plays pretty straightforward, summer breezy folk rock/country pop tunes that are actually quite warm and familiar sounding without ever getting cheesy or overly derivative. This is tough to pull off typically. Oh yeah, they have a good singer too.... another DFWd rarity."- We Shot Jr
"Cody Seals is not Sarah Reddington"- Jonanna Widener (Dallas Observer)
"Sarah Reddington and Voot Cha Index open; I’ve seen both bands in the past two weeks and the sets were so horrid I wanted to gouge my ears out with Casio Keyboards"- Sam Mackovich (Formerly of the Dallas Observer
"Sarah Reddington is one of the best ones around! instant classics"- Delmore Pilcrow
"Sarah Reddington appeals to all the things you know we like best: solid song structures, good vocals, tight melodies, etc. They're definitely a band to keep an eye and ear on."- Bobby Ewing Dreams
"Last night, Sarah Reddington folk-country-Denton-beard-rocked my face off....The Reddington set featured some of the most artful tambourine I've ever seen, and the keyboards made them far more interesting to listen to than most folkie beard bands."- Wee Demon Dot Com
