Upon releasing her first solo album in August 2002, songwriter/singer/arranger Sarah Silaban continues writing her music for wider audience and media.
Being creatively stuck under major label, she and her management have decided to go independent, creating and delivering music as a universal language of love, spirit, and courage.
Under the influence of various musician friends, Sarah's music has constantly evolved over time and she inhesitantly tells the world about her musical adjustments, from energetic folk-rock-ballads to full synth solo pieces.
About the album "Yang Saya Mau Bilang Adalah"
This album was recorded between December 2005 and April 2006 at various studios. We did pre-production and later synth and piano recording at my home studio, the basic tracks at ArtSound, and finally vocals and guitars at Flip. The album was mixed by Harmoko at BigKnob and mastered by Brad Blackwood at Euphonic Masters.
Other credits go to: Deden Sumandani (co-producer), TOBY (ProTools engineer), Zeki Siregar (A&R), Gugun (guitars), Ijul (bass), Denny (bass), Harry Goro (drums), Ade Kunci (drums), and Dhendy (synth/drum loops, back vocals).
Some songs can be downloaded from Digital Base Indonesia for Indonesian listeners and full album will soon be available in iTunes for listeners outside INA, SG, and MY.
Hi Sarah, kita ganti nama karena personil dah ganti semua dan agent kita di UK mengusulkan hal itu dikarenakan ada band dr GREECE namanya BLUESBUG jg dan mereka band kafe. jd untuk amannya kita ganti nama aja. so hows life???
