My name is Sarai Jazz (pronounced sir-rye Jazz)
i grew up listening to and singing jazz, although i do remember the beatles and the carpenters and aretha franklin playin when i was a kid!!!
i love soul and r'n'b so my voice has a little bit of everything goin on i supose!!
also i listen to hip hop and love it so much, in fact to be honest i don't think there is a genre of music i don't appreciate, i mean i probably wouldn't listen to heavy metal or country music but i do understand there are people in the world who love that stuff, therefor i think it should be respected!!
if one person in the whole world likes a song then i think that song has done it's job and you should never brand any genre as being crap, it's just not your cup of cha..ya dig??
My pet hates are people reading my magazines before i have and british rappers trying to sound american!! no seriously, this really gets me wound up, we have so much talent right here in the uk, we should be doin all we can to rep it, not tryin to pretend we're from somewhere else to fool people, it never works any way, you are who you are, be your self!!! oh and a newly found peeve is people leaving me comments asking me to leave them comments when they haven't actually left me a comment!! what is that all about??? not that you have to give to recieve but do me a favour!!!
anywayz, am currently working with the amazingly talented rogue state from sheffield, we hooked up to do a collab and the musical chemistry was so vibin, we are now doing a whole album, you can check out Rogue in my top friends, he does many other genres of music and they are all equally well produced!
