I love to listen to and be inspired by music. I love to write love songs, I love to write rock and pop songs, and I love to write lyrics...I love working with other artists and helping them achieve their dreams, but the main reason I love to write, is because you listen. Thank you for your support and I hope that whether you liked the music or not that it enticed an emotional response from you. Music is my life, my true calling, an obsession and an addiction. There is always more music coming, and please feel free to drop me a line and let me know what you think.
Heyhey Sara, How are you?? Hope you've had a terrific Christmas!! Wishing you a very Happy New Year ahead - may 2009 bring many more wonderful things your way. Take care and keep in touch! Warmest regards, ~Nick
Every time that we listen or write music... play an instrument... dance... act in a play... or work in some audio/image/video engineering process... Something is healing inside...
When we share it with friends... Something is healing all over...
How are you? Hope all's well! So sorry I haven't been in touch, but I've totally been consumed by rehearsals and workshop performances of my musical 'The Edge', which ended just last week. Thankfully I can now take some time off and BREATHE, hahaha!!
The show is now slated for a February 2009 proper staging, which is incredibly exciting!!! And I've been contracted to write the score and songs for a Christmas production this year-end, so it looks like Nick's going to be busy for a while, haha!
Anyway do write back soon. In the meantime, I leave you with a scene from the show, featuring Lilly, the mother of a suicidal boy who's out on a ledge, and she sings here to try to get him to come back inside. The audio isn't too great, but I hope you enjoy it. :))
