In my spare time (of which I have none), I watch VH-1, drink girly drinks, shop for vintage dresses, make a fool of myself at karaoke, hug my boyfriend, walk the dogs, ride my bike, and seek out records that still might save my life.

I might have tried to add you recently if you were friends with Tritone, Plain Parade, Girls Rock Philly, or Fuse. I mean no harm. I just think you might be interested in some events I do. If you decide to add me, I post a few bulletins a week about my shows and other non-show things that people might want to know about. I don't send you additional messages or myspace invites. And I'm not sophisticated enough to do anything with your profiles.
I run a karaoke night on Mondays Upstairs at The Khyber (56 S. 2nd Street), 9-2, FREE, and 21+
In February of 2007, I restarted Sugar Town, a monthly party for lady rockers, performers, and DJ's that I've booked since 2001. It's the last Saturday of the month at Tritone (1508 South Street), where I also book additional nights whenever I can help out(RIP Rick D). I'm interested in booking all kinds of things: punk, new wave, rock and/or roll, indie, experimental, electronic, DJ's, drag and/or alt queer stuff, good comedy, performance art, film screenings, fun and games.
I still dress up and act like a freak with the Dumpsta Players, portraying bimbos, psychos, teenage Russian lesbians, Beavis and Butthead-obsessed mental patients and obscene old ladies.
FUN FACTS!
Until December of 2006, I was a a very important merchandiser for Tower Records (R.I.P., Stupid and Crazy). I used to be a receptionist and nerve central (i.e. social worker, psychiatrist, babysitter, and concierge).
From 2002-2006, I cut my teeth booking bands with Maria Sciarrino, at various stinky rock clubs in town, as one-half of the no-profit booking agency, Plain Parade.
For the last 100 years, I've been a rock critic of sorts, contributing to local rags, fanzines, and a few spots in the Village Voice. Read my blog. I currently write for the Philadelphia Daily News.
If you're a band looking for press coverage, drop me a line here or at sarasherrATgmailDOTcom.
