Influences
Ravi and Anoushka Shankar, Pink Floyd, The Grateful Dead, The Rolling Stones, The Beatles, Tim Burton, Harry Houdini, Nina Simone, Dead Can Dance, Marquis of Vaudeville, Roald Dahl, Portishead, and a two thousand year old line of sitar players, kind enough to teach their ragas the youthful, passing on their wisdom in the process....
Taken in by the hypnotizing strings of the sitar, Sarasvati beckons to the world to seek that same mesmerizing, scintillating thrall with the entire Universe, listening as the sitar speaks within one's own psyche, emoting a sweet blessing as the world heals its self-made chaos...
In the seat of the Observer, Sarasvati can thrill and heal. In the seat of the Observer, Sarasvati can hypnotize your heart. In the seat of the Observer, Sarasvati can shatter all boundaries.
Sarasvati Bodhisattva performs sitar as well as a multitude of other instruments...she will give you a sweet mandolin or the heartbeat of the drum. She divines the horn of France and opens doors with 88 keys.
Sarasvati dances with Shiva, creating the Universe sometimes with her hips and belly, sometimes with her mudras and eyes, but always with her Love.
She performs not always solo, for there are others who wish to play in the Circus Playground.
Wild Sky Tribal, an Improv World Music and Dance Troupe.
Sarasvati strums and flutes and dances her way, bringing others into her sitar play...
Wild Sky Tribal is a multi-talented performing troupe that includes Tribal Style Belly Dancers and a multitude of acoustic and electric instruments...including sitar, guitar, didgeridoo, drums of all sorts, oboe, flutes, bells, whistles and more... We even have performers that work with fire...and serpents....
Wild Sky Tribal is not a show to miss!

From their upcoming album, The Floor’s Made of Lava, “One Snowman to Texas” sways through one snowman’s heartrending journey to be with his dear snowwoman. In Colorado, she fell in the Rio Grande and was swept south to the Gulf. Now our hero, holding his molecules together with sheer will, is off to Texas just to succumb where his dear snowwoman now resides.
Parallel Play’s harmony enriched single captures a level of love that takes “One Snowman to Texas” beyond just a song, but that of a Texas legend.
