I like to read. I sometimes enjoy writing. Cooking is extremely relaxing to me, as are naps. Christian theology is good fun. Music is an absolute must, every day. My favorite guilty pleasures are reality TV, and Coast to Coast on late night AM radio, especially when the topic is shadow people, remote viewing, alien abductions, crop circles, or psychic vampires.
Music
Yes.
Movies
At least three times a week.
Television
I can stop any time, really.
Books
There are currently at least 37 of them on my nightstand.
About me: I write young adult novels involving teens with complicated and angst-ridden lives. Yay, angst! My first novel, Story of a Girl, is in stores now - mostly in paperback though you can still find the hardback if you look. It was a finalist for the 2007 National Book Award! My second book, Sweethearts, came out February 1, 2008, and is now available in paperback, too. They are both published by Little, Brown, who will also be publishing my third book, Once Was Lost in fall 2009. If you want to find out more about the books, go here: books!. If you want to know all the excruciating detail about my daily life, be sure to visit me at sarazarr.com, or if you are a LiveJournal user, go here. And leave comments! I love comments!
And by the way, if you send me a friend request and your profile has like no information and it's not obvious that you are a teen fan of YA or another writer, please include a message of introduction so I know why you're friending me. Thanks!!
You'll find a sample page of the novel at the beginning of my blog entries. See Novel and Novelist I am also proud to invite you to join technology and magic
At the website for my upcoming novel -- www.howtobuyaloveofreading.com -- I'm inviting submissions of stories about how reading changed people's lives in some way. I'd love it if, as an author, you added your voice.
And if you have a few minutes, I'm hoping the trailer below will make you laugh:
Thanks for the add! I just finished reading "Story of A Girl" for my college class and really enjoyed it. You should make a follow-up novel. I would really love to see what life has in-store for Deanna next.
As you may or may not know, I turned twenty-five the other day. Instead of gifts this year, I'm asking everyone to join my Email List on www. jjhebert. net. Unconventional, my newest novel, will be published by Mindstir Media later this year, and joining the Email List will ensure that you receive updates regarding my book release, contests, giveaways, and more.
Hallo, bedankt voor de toevoeging (Hello, thanks for the add) a reader and dreamer from Haaksbergen, the Netherlands (A chair to relax after a day of hard labour, for other foto's about books see myspace photo's and don't be shy to give a comment)
Hi Sara. Thanks for the add. I went on a book shopping binge the other day with my Christmas gift cards, and the story of a certain girl jumped into my pile. Amazing how these things happen.
