About me:
The Swedish Artrock Society Crimson, SARF Crimson, was founded in 1991 to promote and support Swedish Artrock (read Symphonic rock, Progressive rock), artrock-musicians and other people interested in this type of music, and also to create a stage for this music form! The society is today working mostly in Uppsala by being a link for all enthusiasts of Progressive Rock.Svenska Art Rock Föreningen CRIMSON startade 1991 i syfte att stödja svensk artrock (läs symfonirock, progressivrock), svenska artrockmusiker och andra intresserade genom att i Sverige skapa en scen för denna musikform. Föreningen verkar idag framför allt lokalt i Uppsala genom att vara en kontaktlänk för alla entusiaster av progressiv musik.

We are excited and proud to announce that the following four bands have confirmed that they will play at Uppsala Progressive Rock Festival.
* Cirrus Winery
* Klotet
* Ensemble Nimbus
* Pär Lindh Project
The festival takes place: Saturday, August 9, 2008, 16.00-22.00.
The stage is called Parksnäckan and is located in the centre of Uppsala.
Svenska Art Rock Föreningen Crimson, SARF Crimson (in translation The Swedish Art Rock Society Crimson), is a music society which was founded in Uppsala in 1992. The society’s main purpose is to promote and expose the progressive rock music genre.
Welcome to the city that has been giving birth to the following progressive rock bands: Samla Mammas Manna, Kaipa, Fantasia, Manticore, The Flower Kings, Pär Lindh Project (PLP), Ensemble Nimbus, Indisciplined Lucy, Violent Silence and Flying Food Circus.
Tickets can be bought at www. ticnet. se and at the local newspaper office, UNT City, at Dragarbrunnsgatan 24.
