Born in Salinas California, Son of Auto racing legend Marshall Sargent.
Mike got his first chance to race super modifieds when he was 16 years old.
Since then He has collected multiple state and track championships.
Includes 43 San Speedway main event wins.
4 time San Jose Speedway Track Championships.
7 Time California State Driving Championships.

Mark Sargent kind of known as being the "Wild Side" of Sargent Racing.
Blessed with a natural ability from day one, Mark took to racing like He'd been doing for years.
Besides winning several races at numerous tracks and always being a front runner , He also had no fear and let that get the best of Him sometimes, and was never afraid to let others competitors know that.
There were times that Mark would already win the race while sitting in the staging lane strictly by His intimidating vibe. Some drivers would often shriek after finding out He was in their race.
Over His career He definitely played one of the villains on the track, but nobody left their seat when He rolled onto the track. Along with the wins came more suspensions and Life Time bans than any driver in NASCAR history, but He still managed to leave His mark (or bruise) in San Jose's history books.
