Bio
Formerly established in the end of 2008, consist of four people who had a same vision and passion in playing modern music, experimenting through live process. Most of its unique repertoire shaped and influenced by desire and individualism perspective. This ego has available itself in the process of creating music from side to side occasional private jamming by being structured, or letting the sound by itself. Deciding name has become a similarity course of action of vision about music. 'Sarimanouk' come as a mark of unity like music speaks through a universal condition. There is no doubt that the most common and remarkable features of the Malagasy are those that came from migratory Indonesians and Arabs, as well as the pirates. The Indonesian influence is most noticeable amongst the people of the highlands, not only physically but in their farming techniques, as well as the tools used for the agriculture, fishing and hunting. Even culturally speaks there are similarities between the two people such as the musical instruments. The first migrants who took this historical journey used a boat called 'Sarimanok' comes from mythological sacred bird from Balinese tradition. Contemporary thinking always a procedure of human reflection upon the environmental changes, like the history at all times changes towards the progress of society. The compositions always be a sign of the changes of a society. Duke Ellington is one figured who constantly being related with the big band swing music. But this stereotype is becoming bias when 'Money Jungle' came onward to be the most revolutionary contemporary recording along with Charles Minus, and Max Roach. Also this can be compared with Miles, who through time constantly changes with a lot of explorations, ending with new style and most importantly the way of thinking towards music. This humbly projects simply emerge as results of those spirits, absorbing, and developing as a part of a changing society -
