Sarsaparilla is the music project of traveling folk artist Brandon Miller. Born and raised in Philadelphia, Miller left the area at the age of 16 to find his own way in life and found himself exploring the roads from Savannah to Berlin.
"A Hike Unlike" to be released Autumn 2008.
A record written in Autumn 2006 during a three month mystical trek through the Austrian Alps.
With Nate Kowalski on percussion, Adam Winokur on bass and recorded at Kawari Sound in Wyncote, PA, Sarsaparilla has managed to create a style that can be summed up as a “folk waltz punk hop and serenade”.
Also to be released Autumn 2008 - "Yardsale" recorded live at Kawari sound, produced and engineered by Adam Winokur and Jasper the old dog. Just guitar, vocals, and the occasional harmony. Thank you for your support in this ever expanding universe -Brandon
