Sarsparilla was raised in a small synth community in the green mountains of Wicklow. He soon found their small town ways oppressive and formed an escape plan with his then mentor, John Carpenter. These men promptly escaped into the Dublin underground, soon master Carpenter moved to the US, but Sarsparilla stayed in Ireland to forge his own distinctive synthesized soundscapes.
Utilizing the techniques master Carpenter had taught him and building upon them, he has crafted his own sound that is nothing short of extraordinary!
awright! yeh, should be the craic, lookin forward to it, i think we're in the same area, if i recall correctly. i was talking to rosie at mcgruders there the sunday before last - your bday session in the techno mansion sounded pretty cool - i remember mention of sound systems on the roof etc. that's a little hardcore. ;)
No gigs yet - but I'm gonna try and get things happening over the summer. Right now just working on getting all the academic stuff over + done with. Don't know if it'll be possible yet, but I'm gonna try and make it to the Mantua festival - I've gotta see one of your live sets. Any aerobic dancers lined up? ;-P
thanks damo, i appreciate that,nice description too!. im workin hard on my album. hopefully ill be finished before end of summer. i just got your album a few weeks ago. ill need to give it a proper full listen. the production is top notch. actualy i just stuck it on now as ive been listenin to the same music the past few days. the synths are beautiful. kind of 2/3 plaid 1/3 boards of canada
