Those of you that aren't in the pro aging trance please HELP to advance the cause in the following ways.
1) Take the Ending Aging Book Owner’s challenge" .If you own the book "Ending Aging" take a picture of your self with it preferably in front of a famous land mark and upload it in the groups images section. So far there has been eleven submissions. There will be a thousand dollar donation made for SENS research after fifty photos have been submitted.
2) Use the GoodSearch search engine when you do a search on the internet. Make sure you type in Methuselah foundation in as your charity before you do a search and a penny will go to the foundation for every search you do. You can also use the website when you shop online and the website will donate a percentage of your purchase to the foundation for free. This method has the potential to bring in a lot of money to the foundation IF a significant amount of supporters use the search engine for the Methuselah Foundation. The ASPCA for instance brought in 18000$ so far this year for themselves through GOODSEARCH.
3) Spread the idea to your friends and family. Blog about it on your website. You can also create your own MYSPACE profile like a few of my top friends and myself have and promote SENS. Once you have created a profile let us know so we can put you on our top friend list. You can then add people from your area and spread the meme.
4)Donate to the SENS Foundation. It doesn't have to be a lot it but it could :).Some have donated as little as a dollar while others like Peter Theil have donated millions so please give what you can.

Dr Aubrey de Grey was featured on Comedy Centrals Colbert Report...
About me: I AM NOT DR AUBREY DE GREY, I AM JUST A SUPPORTER THAT'S PROMOTING HIS IDEAS ON MYSPACE, IF YOU WISH TO CONTACT THE FAMOUS DOCTOR HIS EMAIL IS aubrey@sens.org.
Dr Aubrey de Grey Phd is a Biomedical Gerontologist from Cambridge University that has developed strategies that could reverse human aging in our life time. His strategies are called Strategies for Engineered Negligible Senescence (SENS). The above link is to his website that describes the strategies in detail. His strategies were ridiculed in the beginning but has gradually become accepted by many scientists as some thing that's feasible and is worth experimenting on. The change in attitude towards his ideas began after the SENS challenge that was offered by Jason Pontin of MIT'S Technology Review.A 20,000 dollar prize money was offered to any Biologist that could show that SENS is not worthy of learned debate. There were five submissions and all failed to meet the challenge. The panel of scientists that determined that SENS is worth pursuing included the famous Biologist who played a major role in sequencing the human genome and the former head of Celera Genomics Dr Craig Venter.
If you are some one that is currently in the pro aging trance, meaning you some how think human aging is a good thing please watch this presentation because it may help you. Also try checking out my top friends' profiles and the SENS website cause that may be able to help you. :)
You can learn more about the actual SENS proposals by reading the book "Ending Aging" that was written by Dr Aubrey de Grey and his research assistant Micheal Rae.
The following are links to various reviews of the book in popular newspapers and magazines.
"de Grey is hardly just another fountain-of-youth huckster... if even one of his proposals works, it could mean years of extended healthy living - not only for unborn generations but also for those of us already casting an uneasy eye toward the mirror." - Paul Boutin - Wall Street Journal
"Ending Aging isn't an exhortation to change habits in order to live longer. It's a call to do whatever possible to generate interest in anti-aging research and advance the science."

Hi there! Hope this finds you well! Did you know that if we did all the things we are actually capable of, we would literally astound ourselves?....Thomas Edison said that...what a smart guy. :-) http://www.befreewithmelissa.com
I came across this article that I'm sending to all the other life extensionists I know here on My Space. It's about how much age-related conditions will cost us. Perhaps I'm barking up the wrong tree as normal but what about writing articles from the angle of "the credit crunch will crush our savings...aging will crush our savings *and* our lives?" Anyways, here's the article: Chronically Ill Elderly To Rise.
Perhaps the fact that pople are waking up to how much unneccessary suffering actually drains our resources is a good thing. Certainly a point worth playing on I think.
I did see it, it was a great new spin on the matter. I commented on it with some concerns about Eleizers questions about brain saturation and unforseeable things that may happen after sens is hypothetically complete, here: http://www. imminst. org/forum/index. php?showtopic=26358&hl=
Hi, Ive been slowly molding my life more and more around working full time for this and its going great. Ive been memeing all day again and I just got another person to sign up for imminst a minute ago. Im working to form a small team right now to tackle medium sized tasks. Nobody seems to be game yet though. Most people dont think there is anything they can do or that they have time, but Ill meme that into them too. An hour a week is all we need. Hey have you signed up for grants through mfuri yet? Thats coming along amazing too. Aubreys focusing in on the most promising parts of sens to help with longevity escape velocity, Theil gave all that money, and now mfuri is beefing up the efforts with an army of undergrads. This whirlwind is picking up so strongly that its got my head spinning, hopefully it gets the world spinning to the same tune too. I think it could even happen with in a year or two. but I digress, It sure is a great time we live in!
I've discovered recently that recurrent aches and stiffness can be diagnosed at fibromyalgia. I am not happy to find out it is a "mysterious syndrome" with little known about any cause.
Come on! Aches in muscles are to do with lactic acid, for example, pain in joints is some kind of cartiledge thing, right? Blood flow, elimination, metabolism, amino acids? I can think of all sorts of things off the top of my head that might be a cause or a solution. So why the mystery?! People more knowledgeable than I must have this all figured out, no?
Have you seen the new Conference banners? Here it is, there is a link to the different sizes in there. Methuselah, Imminst, Foresight, and Singularity Institute will be there to name a few.
To everybody reading this page, help us promote this conference, your life depends on it, and time is of the essence.
An easy way to jump right into the mix is to meet with us in the life extension chat box at the top of my page. There is a weekly brainstorming meeting 4pm every wednesday that is open to the public amongst others.

* Imminst. org meeting discussing this at the top of my page today and every monday and wednesday at 4pm cst time.
I am going to vote at least ten times a day using my friends email addresses. and also bulletin the Methuselah foundation's blog about it a couple a times a day.
Your going to need about a hundred and 20 or so people a day to sign up at that cause to get the 2000. Do you know of anyway that that can be pulled off that I can help you with? It is a great opportunity. Its a little nerve wracking knowing that it may go to waste. I see your work has been paying off today. Its gone up since I signed up. Now if we can get about ten more people to do what your doing we may be able to pull this thing off.
Heres a promotion Ive been plugging. Thought I better put it on your page too. I think I told you about it right?
I see you every where I go when posting these things. Its motivating. Momentum builds momentum. Strike while the iron is hot. "Every drop counts, so let the brainstorms commence."
I also heard a guy in the ustream video looping say today something like "We are going to look back on this time and wonder why we spent so much time watching television and working for trivialities when the fate of humanity hung in the balance." I thought that was awsome. Heres the thing Ive been plugging as of late:
**Wednesday 4pm cst time brainstorming meetings for indefinite life extension projects** You and anybody interested are invited. Its in the chat box at the top of my page.
There is also a live life extension speaker in the video there on sundays at 5pm cst time.
"Put in some time to help with life extension now, or put in time helping with your family and friends funerals later. Its your choice." -E.D.

To love justice, to long for the right, to love mercy, to pity the suffering, to assist the weak, to forget wrongs and remember benefits -- to love the truth, to be sincere, to utter honest words, to love liberty, to wage relentless war against slavery in all its forms, to love wife and child and friend, to make a happy home, to love the beautiful in art, in nature, to cultivate the mind, to be familiar with the mighty thoughts that genius has expressed, the noble deeds of all the world, to cultivate courage and cheerfulness, to make others happy, to fill life with the splendor of generous acts, the warmth of loving words, to discard error, to destroy prejudice, to receive new truths with gladness, to cultivate hope, to see the calm beyond the storm, the dawn beyond the night, to do the best that can be done and then to be resigned -- this is the religion of reason, the creed of science. This satisfies the heart and brain.
