About me: I LOVE: living in L.A., reading in my back yard, having parties, hanging with my best friend and her baby, and being a writer. I write for kids and teens and my first novel, VIDALIA, will be coming out from Viking Penguin in early 2008.
Here's the blurb for the book that came out in Publisher's Marketplace: A debut YA novel about a sixteen-year old teen with a penchant for painting who goes to Paris as an exchange student to hone her skills both in art and in life — but her mysterious host parents and the charming and oh-so-dangerous guy they introduce her to bring some unexpected twists.
Thanks for the add - I'm always open to hearing from YA authors - let me know if you start writing myspace blogs and I'll subscribe. I never would have guessed it, but myspace is a great venue for new authors to get an audience. I've friended a bunch before their first book even came out and it definitely inspired me to buy the book when it did! (amazon says the book will be out in October - 6 months... good luck!)
Here's wishing you a super Saturday filled with silliness, serendipity, and speedy space sporks.
I was wondering if you'd be willing to check out one of my short stories, which you can read online for free. If you'd like to do me this honor, feel free to click here. I'd love to hear what you think.
Happytimes, -Jeremy :)

Peter: Oh my god, Brian, there's a message in my Alphabits. It says, 'Oooooo.' Brian: Peter, those are Cheerios.
