Reading, writing, going to concerts, biking, shopping for music and books or, even better, books about music (though music about books would be great, too)
Music
Garage, freakbeat, power pop, punk, ye-ye and assorted stuff.
Movies
Film noir (especially Detour), George Romero zombie movies, the Toxic Avenger movies, most pulp cinema, Nosferatu, Metropolis, Battle Royale, any John Hughes 80s teen sex romp.
Television
Carnivale, Coupling, Heroes, Flight of the Conchords, Freaks and Geeks, Degrassi Jr. High
Books
The End of The Affair by Graham Greene, any Raymond Chandler , any Terry Pratchett, anything by James Joyce, any Neil Gaiman, Bram Stoker's Dracula, most Mark Twain, the short stories of Charles Chesnutt, some Updike, David Sedaris, Strangers in Paradise by Terry Moore, Sin City by Frank Miller, Blue Monday by Chynna Cluggston-Major, The Amazing Adventures of Kavalier and Clay by Michael Chabon, Box Office Poison, WB Yeats poetry, Love and Rockets
I'm a nerd, I guess? I like reading. I'm working on becoming a librarian, so I can spend the rest of my life surrounded by books.
I like going to shows, record shopping, and dancing at the aforementioned shows/to the aforementioned records. Also using the word 'aforementioned'. I ride my bike pretty much everywhere, and CTA-it the rest of the way.
I'm socially awkward when not inebriated, so if you see me out say hey.
I'm trying to get people up for both the April 8 Nobunny show (house) or the April 11 Smithwesterns show (bar), but so far few people from Chicago are biting. Because people from Chicago appear to be lame. Prove me wrong - FIGHT!
You all are when you don't show up to my shit after I show you to yours. I do appreciate that you ADMIT to creepin around other people's pages though. Everyone does it, but no one talks about it! Hush hush.
your idea of giving myself rewards for going to school every day is not working. thank you for trying to help me cure my ditching disease. oh well. at least i got to watch a really good episode of family court with judge penny! hope your day was more successful than mine (which is not hard to accomplish).

maybe we could just do a series. it'll be the brian wants a blank single, with three songs about how you want a t-shirt, beer, and pizza.
i'll talk to the rest of the girls... unless you already made the other bands aware of your song ideas.
SEE YOU TONIGHT!
