Influences
As stated above the band draws from all forms of music: rock, punk and country. Such as The Supersuckers, Hank Williams III, Willie Nelson, The Rolling Stones, The Beatles, Misfits, DRI, Led Zeppelin, The Ramones, Johnny Cash, early Metallica, etc...
Satantonio was formed in the summer of 2003, in an effort to bring to light the slightly humorous dark side of the River City.
Drawing on a wide variety of influences in rock music, the punk underground and outlaw country, these boys have created their own South Texas Hellbilly sound. It's a new era for the evil we spread.
Not wanting to over expose themselves, the band keeps a general low profile and only plays a few selected shows. This usually means one per month, or so.
Their first demo Evil By Default, was recorded before they played their first show. A second three song demo Givin Death A Ride Home, was recorded in late 2004. This touched on some of their influences, such as The Supersuckers and Wayne Hancock. On Dec. 2, 2006 the band celebrated the release of their new full length cd "Cool Arrow Fiesta" on Thrill Ride Records.
