What do you get when two assholes, two computer geeks, one guido, and one midget come together? Well, it's a lot of fun.
Satchel Brown came together in late 2002, when a few hometown friends (Dave, Ike, and Josh; two assholes and one computer geek, respectively) came together with Mike (Ike's pharmacy school friend and flaming guido) and Chris (Josh's co-worker, another computer geek) started jamming. Within a few weeks of playing very badly, we began to notice that we were on to something together. Weeks became months, and months became years; Satchel Brown began performing at a local bar, Gibbie's. In early 2005, we picked up our keyboardist, Gary - the midget. While we have mainly played shows around Morgantown, WV, we have also gone as far as Goldsboro, NC to perform. Throughout our time as a band, we have all grown to be the best of friends.
We have recently released our first album. The self titled CD took us about two years to complete, and is available at the following locations.
Not sure which one of ya said that, but thanks a bunch. I was a little, ok a lot, nervous myself. I really wish stuff would have worked out for the ski trip as well. Hope y'all are kickin ass out there. Guess I'll see some of ya in May. OC and I will be in for graduation weekend too.
