About me: Satiristas: (n., pl.) are a cadre of comic provocateurs at the forefront of a comic revolution targeting political hypocrisy, media distortion, and the institutionalized ignorance infecting much of our culture. Satiristas are distinguished from generic comedians by the savage bite of their wit, virtuosic command of sarcasm and irony, and finely tuned bullshit detectors. In the arenas of politics, race, religion, and gender, Satiristas are gladiators who slash with the sword of knowledge, block with the shield of truth, and kill with the stab of humor. Their stand-up spectacle leaves victims exposed and bloodied, and the audience enlightened by spasms of uncontrollable laughter.
