"I really enjoyed working with Satori on his new project. He is very
talented and especially has great rhythm. His feel is really sweet"

I loved playing drums at the session for Satori. The music was
great- full of energy and groove. And Satori was very cool.
I enjoyed working with him. Will Lee and I always have fun
playing together, and it was great to work with
Sushi too. I hope Satori does a lot more work
as a solo artist. -Clint de Ganon

The music of Satori can be described in one word ... "FUN!"
"Asian Sky" has the mixture of elements making it a very funky-raggae
experience where as "Happydom" elements create a soulful-rock feel.
The record sounds like a band performing live with very exciting performances
from all members including Satori's strong vocals, great guitar playing from
Ray Parker Jr. and Vinnie's fine drumming! I very much enjoyed
playing on this great project! - Nathan East

I love this CD. It's got everything I love about great pop music-great grooves,
layers of harmonies, strong melody andgreat playing & singing.
Satori has total control over the vibe as he takes you on a trip to the islands
on a musical vacation, shouting from the mountain tops while making you
want to dance, or singing very personally and intimately. It's a fun party
and people will want to be invited again and again!
With love & respect,Will

When I listen to Satori's solo album many different feelings come alive.
I travel back in time to the years I spent listening to music legends like
Nathan East, Omar Hakim, Vinnie Colaiuta and Ray Parker Jr.
It was great to meet them again. I also appreciate the innovative and
capturing Japanese sound produced by Satori.
It brings an Asian flavor to it all. The songs are well written and there is an
impressing variety of musical styles coming from one person.
Especially "Sunshine" and "Alchemist" are great tracks.
Hearing the album also brings back good memories
from the hectic time when we collaborated recording three songs with
The Real Group and Skoop On Somebody, where Satori and I worked
closely together even if we were in different parts of the world.
One of the few words I know in Japanese fits well with this album,
and that is "Subarashi".
