Satsang Circus blends ancient eastern chant with Electronica, Indie, and World influences. These rarely heard mantras have been recently brought to the West by Dr. Douglas Brooks from the Rajanaka lineage. Douglas is an old friend of, and a long-time collaborator with, John Friend, founder of Anusara Yoga. Brad Roberts’ cavernous bass, woven with Cypress’ evocative improvisations are a rich blend of traditions mapping uncharted territory.

Roberts’ career in singing and fronting “Crash Test Dummies”, combined with his studies, are the inspiration for his mantra practice. Cypress is a yogini of 15 yrs who has worked recording and performing for major motion picture, symphonic choir, to singing rock, pop, and blues.

Aside from its recorded musical offerings, Satsang Circus is dedicated to exploring and sharing the healing quality of sound. It finds these sources in group chant, in performance, and in the quietude of the natural sonic world.

Brad, congrats on the new gig. You're doing what you like and I respect that. Is there a posted schedule anywhere of your performances at the Living Room? I'd really like to catch a live performance! Thanks.

Brad!  You handsome devil....Thanks so much for the very kind words.  So we're playing with Whynot these days, and he was telling us the other day about the "Brad Roberts Show"  at the Living Room.  Would LOVE to have seen that

Cypress is fully enjoying the Wanderlust Festival right now. It's an event that is the first of its' kind, combining yoga and alternative (not indian) music. I sent her there to see what was going on. I'm hoping Satsang Circus will play there next week.

all for now... ps, satsang circus has a video on youtube of a recent ilve performance. just search "satsang circus" on you tube and it should come up.

hope this finds you all happy and well.
