Sounds Like
when you figure it out, let us know....but we like to listen to all kinds of music including, but not limited to Aimee Mann, Ours, Muse, Gemma Hayes, BellX1, The Frames, Metric, Ani Difranco, Frou Frou, Coldplay, Garrison Starr, Joseph Arthur, Sparklehorse, Madonna (Madge), Sade,Sylvie Lewis, u2, Regina Spector, Jeff Buckley, Patty Griffin, Imogen Heap, Tom Waits among many many others.
Cynthia and Annmarie became acquainted with each other in Los Angeles. Cynthia wanted to perfect her fake Irish accent so she befriended Annmarie for that purpose. She quickly came to realise that Annmarie, although from Ireland, doesn't really have an accent. They decided to form a band instead.
Stuff you could live without knowing!
1. The culturally diverse band, SAUCY MONKY comprise of members from Ireland (Annmarie Cullen), Israel (Karen Teperberg, drummer on Between the Bars) and America (Cynthia Catania and Steve Giles).
2. Cynthia found the name SAUCY MONKY in a book by Tina Brown. Although haunting melodies define their sound, they chose the band name because it’s quirky, fun and not too serious.
3. Cynthia is hopeless at judging her threshold for red wine. I would love to expand on this, but she'll get mad if i do
4. Annmarie plays the lotto religiously and is convinced that she will someday win
5. Steve consumes more caffeine than any human being we know
6. We've played festivals with The Black Eyed Peas, Wilco, The B-52s, Pink, PJ Harvey and we've had a lot of songs placed in various TV Shows. We're pretty fancy!

An interesting tidbit... On May 20th, in the year 1310, shoes were made for both the right and left foot.
In honor of this day, I urge you to place your right shoe onto your right foot and your left shoe onto your left foot. Then, place one foot in front of the other and go and pursue your dreams!
May your two feet carry you to wherever your heart desires!

Hey Saucy Monky Ladies! I hope you're well. It would be great if you could check out our new video for the single 'Heads'. We shot it in a disused office building on a low budget, calling in all kinds of favours from all kinds of friends... We're really proud of what we came up with. See the results of the two day shoot here:
