Hey thanks for visiting. If you don't know me, nice to meet you. Now that we know each other, for the next few minutes, I'll be talking about myself. Then.... I'll stop. I swear.
I'm a NY native that has played/toured with Crash Test Dummies, Ace Frehely, Leon Russell, Kings X, John Hammond, Glenn Tilbrook, Spin Doctors, Lisa Loeb etc... My music has been in several films/DVD's and TV shows. It turns out I love watching films and eating popcorn so that worked out well. Most of my focus is on writing and releasing music and most of my touring is in support of my own Cd's these days.
Of late Iv'e opened for the great Adrian Belew Trio on a boat load of shows. Incredible. I have the pleasure of working with Adrian in the studio too. I've had A major record deal /indie deals and 2 publishing deals in my career as an artist, and man..I'm so happy to be free and clear of that music industry silliness. I've been successfully ignoring the music business for years now. Now more than ever I'm feeling the glory of creating the music I want to create and bringing it to audiences around this great Country!!!! Hmm. Why did I just yell that at you?
Aside from countless bands and artists I've worked with in the studio, on the stage, and making tomato sauce, I've released 5 solo Cd's since 2001. My 6th and latest entitled "Blue Monkey" has been one of the most gratifying albums to make. (7/1/08 release) It's a more progressive collection and features really great musicians!!!! ...Wow.... ..Hmm.....I lost it again there.... I'll stop shouting... sorry.
I play a variety of instruments, , guitars, bass, chapman stick, keys, drums and so many other odd toys in my collection, and still really enjoy playing on other artist's music as well. I sing too. How about me huh? Are you impressed yet? I can even change diapers really fast with one arm! Not mine you sicko.... my son's. For mine I need two arms.
And... I just bought a new home outside of Nashville TN (Murfreesboro) where I spend some of my time with my buddy Jesse (my 2 yr old son), and some of my time in the Mnt. Juliet recording studio, studiobelew. Great gear, great vibe, great studio. I do most of my work there now. I'm just starting to get acclimated here in Nashville so if you're from the area please say hey!!!!!!! OK I'm shouting again...time for my medication...I should let you go..
Oh and by the way.. I NOW HOST A SHOW called A NEW YORK MINUTE. I'll be performing on Saturday evenings and bringing some great bands in to play as well. It will be at club 527 Main. http://www.anewyorkminute.net

I understand that most of you don't speak German and are not able to upload videos because of the language barrier. If you would like me to upload your videos to the German video websites, please let me know.
